Stream of Conciousness Sunday

#SOCsunday

5 minutes of writing... I can't figure out why this is in italics. I tried to change it and it won't. Italics annoys me.

I've been super busy at work, and throw in an after-holiday party (that I was in charge of planning), a deadline night for newspaper, a trip to the ER/hospital stay for my dad, along with the usual homelife stress, and I haven't had 2 seconds for myself this week. Plus I have a stack of grading I haven't even touched. Plus there is a huge pile of laundry over running the upstairs, and the girls' rooms are a mess.

I'm very frustrated/sad/upset about some things, and have no one to talk to. That makes the frustration/sadness/upsetness (is that a word?) worse.

On a positive note, after the above downers, these beautiful little girls spent the afternoon with us. From left to right: Aly, Ava, Kaylin, Kiersten and Laney. All the same age, in the same Sunday school class, in the same church choir, in the same GA class on Wednesday night. I'm so thankful that Kaylin (and Macy too) have girls their own age at church. I never had much of that, and I'm so thankful they will have each other as they grow up and encounter all the drama and difficulties that come with being a teenager and growing up.

This was my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…
  • Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.

  • Link up your post below.
  • Visit your fellow bloggers and show some love.
Now…
1. Grab the button

Hey, I make a living(and LOVE my job) at listening to "upsetness" so feel free to unload on me any time....I have also have learned(grown spiritually) that it is not my job to judge,I leave that to the big guy upstairs. Trust me, there is NOTHING you could say that would surprise me anymore. I have heard it all.

What Sarah said. You can always find someone willing to listen.

But your comment about italics made me smile :)
